About EHCA

Eastern Hills Christian Academy is a private, accredited Christian school in Albuquerque, New Mexico educating children in our preschool, elementary school and middle school programs in the Northeast Heights.  Founded in 1973, today EHCA is the school of choice for 190 children from the greater Albuquerque area.

At EHCA, we believe every child is a gift from God.  Our pledge to parents is to provide a safe environment where their child can grow as Jesus grew – cognitively, physically, spiritually, and socially (Luke 2:52).

At EHCA, we are committed to providing a strong educational foundation for lifelong learning.  Our students are engaged in our challenging core curriculum taught from a biblical perspective.  Every student in preschool, elementary school and middle school will receive an education enhanced by our enrichment classes in Spanish, music, art, PE and chapel.  Small class sizes allow our degreed educators, many holding advanced degrees, to give each child the attention and recognition they deserve. We focus on fostering curiosity while developing critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, study skills and compassionate, respectful behavior.

We are committed to providing children the spiritual foundation to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Christian principles are incorporated throughout our curricula and daily activities. A loving environment conducive to Christian growth ensures Christian values are promoted in all areas of life. Our students are taught that faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ is essential to a successful and meaningful life.

“I believe putting our boys at EHCA is the best thing we could have done for them.  They love their teachers and they both look forward to going to school every day.  EHCA is important to me because it not only teaches my children the basic principles they would learn at most private schools, but it also allows them to encounter God on a daily basis in an intimate way.  This combination will give them the best foundation for their future.”
