Mission & Statement of Faith
As a community of educators at Eastern Hills Christian Academy, we pledge to provide a safe environment where all students can grow as Jesus did - cognitively, physically, spiritually, and socially.
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52
grow cognitively by acquiring academic knowledge, critical thinking skills, and creative problem solving skills
grow physically through a study of health and physical education
grow spiritually through a study of the Bible and an emphasis on Biblical application in daily situations
- grow socially through positive interaction with peers and teachers and by studying the diversity of our world through social studies activities
To this mission we commit all our resources.
Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His Virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death on a cross as a sacrifice for our sins, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for men to be saved from the condemnation of sin, we must experience a spiritual birth by personal faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved are raised to life everlasting, and they that are lost are raised to judgment and condemnation.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ made evident through the church which is called the “body of Christ.”
We believe that biblical marriage is limited to a covenant relationship between a man and a woman.
