Service Learning

Do Something

…the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…

Do Something is our school's service ministry. Serving allows us to love others as Jesus does. All of our students from preschool through 8th grade will learn to share God's love by serving others in practical ways.

Our mission is inspired by Christ’s words in Acts 1:8 "... and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Our students will have many opportunities to serve on campus and in our local community.

Our Do Something projects have benefited:

  • Ronald McDonald House

  • Meals on Wheels

  • Roadrunner Food Bank

  • Joy Junction

  • Assisted Living Facilities

  • Albuquerque Christian Children’s Home

  • New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home

  • Blue Star Mothers

  • Operation Christmas Child

  • Deployed military and their families

Thank you Eastern Hills, for teaching your students kindness, for surely this type of teaching will firmly establish a caring attitude in their minds as they grow into adulthood.
